A little bit about myself
My name is Erika. I am originally from Romania. I have moved to Canada when I was 30 when I decided to start my life all over again (ha ha! easier said than done). I have studied geology and got a M.Sc degree in Mineralogy at the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj. After working in the oil industry for many good years as a geology consultant, I knew the time came to transform my knowledge of (and passion for) the rocks into a creative hobby.
A little bit about Morpho Jewels
This little enterprise started out in November 2015. Corina (a very good friend of mine who, among other things, used to work as a jewelry maker) showed me some of her artwork. That did it for me! I was completely sold on the idea of using my handiness and imagination to create such beautiful accessories.A few specific courses followed and the rest is history!
